What will you need: (Employees or Self-Employed persons) must have:

• Access to a scanner or smartphone
• A National Identification card, passport, driver’s license or any form of picture ID E-Mail Account preferably not a Hotmail account, (to be scanned both front and back, smartphone pictures can work);
• E-mail Account; (preferably not Hotmail) and Updated version of Google Chrome, Internet explorer or Fire Fox

1. Go to the e-filing website (below) 
2. Click on button labeled “REGISTER USER”
3. Complete and submit application form for approval. All required fields indicated with an asterisk (*) must be filled. A message will be received in your Email account from Tax E-filing requesting that you click on the highlighted link.
4. Within eight (8) working hours an email would be received from Tax E-filing, indicating whether the application was approved or rejected.
5. If approved, the User Name would be highlighted. If rejected, an explanation would be provided. The Individual should amend the issue and try again.
6. Return to E-filing website, fill in the slot stating “User Name” and enter Password.
7. Click on the button labeled “LOG IN”

1. Letter (or E-mail) must be submitted to the
   Inland Revenue Department by the company indicating:
   a. The name of the Company
   b. Persons to be assigned as representative/s
2. Specific assignments given, for example Filing of Company tax return, completion of VAT forms or payments.
3. Duration of Representation.
4. Representative taxpayer will receive an email indicated the approval of the request.
   
   Please Note: Individual/s (Tax Preparer or Tax Consultant) must become E-users in order for Representation Rights to be approved by the Department. In the case of an Accounting firm, an individual or individuals of such firm must be E-Users)

What you will need: All supporting documents for the claims made, for example, Income (TD5/P11), insurance, mortgage interest statements. Self-employed individuals must attach an income and expenditure statement for business or rental

1. Go to the e-filing website (below) and log in to the E-Platform
2. On the Home Page – Select Menu “Declaration – Fill Declaration”
3. Choose the declaration to fill by selecting IT-1 Personal Income Tax Return and tax period from the drop down box
4. Click – Fill New
5. The four main Tabs on the Declaration Form (also known as the Electronic Tax Return) will open for completion of your Tax Allowances and Deductions:

Tab. 1 - Personal identification
Tab. 2 - Dependents and medical expenses
Tab. 3 - Future benefits (insurances/approved pension plans
and retirement savings plans) and other allowable deductions;
Tab. 4 - Calculation of net income and tax calculation/ payments and credits/ payments/ refunds

6. Attach ALL supporting documents for the       claims made, for example, insurance, income   and interest statements. Simply click on   ATTACHMENT button / UPLOAD Document –   Attachment Type – Select STATEMENT OF   INCOME” from drop down List
7. Click : SUBMIT button

• SCANNED COPIES OR DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHS taken with your telephones are ACCEPTED.
• ALWAYS VALIDATE to ensure there are no errors. Simply CLICK on the link, return to identified field and make the necessary corrections. Errors are highlighted in RED at the bottom of the Declaration.

1. Go to the e-filing website (below) and log in to the E-Platform
2. On the Home Page - select menu “Payment” Orders Payment - Order Search
3. Click button “NEW”
4. Click button “New Payment Order Item” –
5. Click "SAVE"
6. Select the Tax Type, Period and amount to be paid from the Drop Down Box
7. Mark Payment Order as Prepared
8. Select the E-Payment Option, and enter Credit/Debit Card Information
9. Click - PAY
